At any given time I am likely to be seen rubbing my arthritic hands.  Painkillers barely touch the pain. My life is becoming more limited at a time when I’m supposed to be writing my book; I can barely type. My husband is the miracle worker. He introduced me to the free application, Text2Speech, for the Mac. There are other programs for the PC such as Dragon, which is what I really wanted until I found out the Mac version wasn’t so hot. This morning I awoke thinking that I would require far more time to write my book than I had planned due to my inability to type for any length of time. Imagine my surprise in discovering how easy it is to push a key, speak, press the key again only to find the text on the computer just as I had said it. Writing for me is not only possible again but is even faster than before!
