Hurdles of Multiple Sclerosis

HurdlesWriting my new book on life in Alaska’s bush has not been without its challenges. More than half way through with the first draft (14 chapters completed for those interested), vision issues plague my efforts. Days I hope to write I end up resting or doing something else around the house because I cannot see well enough to type. This too shall pass, it always does. There was a time I could barely see for nearly a year and yet a decade later I achieved 20/15 vision on a chart at the neurologist’s office three years ago. So the message is “Never give up hope, MS waxes and wanes meaning sometimes slow and steady wins the race.”
