Returning the vacuum cleaner to the closet, the front wheels caught on something that had fallen out of place. As I rearranged a number of miscellaneous items, I saw the culprit – my cane. I paused for a minute to appreciate the length of time that has passed since I last used a cane in my life. How fortunate am I to have been doing so well these days with multiple sclerosis? Every day is a gift.
