MS symptoms: Friday Funny

FrozenLockBLAST from the PAST! The next two weeks I am reposting my favorite posts from the past. Enjoy while I begin my cruise back to the USA!

February 14
Last night my dog insisted on going out at three in the morning. I stumbled out of bed, through the dark house to the front door. Turning the knob I found it did not release the door so I gave it another try. My arthritic hands struggle to grip doors so I tried both-handed. “Ah,” the snow storm outside came to mind leading me to believe the door was frozen shut as occurs with our truck. I gripped the knob with both hands and PULLED. No result. I’m almost awake at this point and I think to myself, “Boy this door is frozen!” So I planted myself and gripped as tightly as I could with both hands and gave it one last PULL. Nothing. I turned on the light, fully awake now and realize my husband had locked the deadbolt! We never do that. I laughed at my sleepy self and made a mental note to ask him why he had locked it that way in the morning. Silly me!
