Day one on Tecfidera went very well. A slight headache resolved with an additional 81 mg aspirin. Otherwise, no news was good news. Day two included only the hint of diarrhea. No other side effects. On the third day, I discovered the plan given by the doctor would not be possible with the number 120 mg pills in the starter kit. Darn. A new plan would have to be devised.

I will need to be careful about food choices with the addition of apple sauce and fatty foods I normally do not eat. For now, I am more concerned about controlling the side effects in the first couple of months. Then I will try to cut down on the amount of apple sauce and fatty foods I consume with the medication.
