MS symptoms: World MS Day 2014 – Medical Access for Rural Patients

If my wish could be granted, the medical professionals would conduct follow-up appointments by telephone or video conferencing for people living in isolated areas who must travel great distances to receive medical care. The insurance industry would provide coverage for such appointments. As a service to the taxpayers, the government would give access to video equipment and high speed Internet required for video conferencing to community members in remote areas without the necessary technology in their home. My dream is for all rural patients to have access to medical professionals right in their own distant communities. – Melissa Cook, MS blogger from Alaska, USA – www.MSsymptoms.me
